We just moved into our new home after closing with 1% Broker.
I’m somewhat familiar with real estate purchases and I would say 1% provides all of the necessary and important services that a full service broker does. If you want total hand holding then perhaps 1% isn’t for you. However, if you can use the internet and put in a little effort, which can apply to 90% of home buyers, then using 1% is a no brainer.
I would use 1% as my listing agent as well. This is a seller’s market and agents are getting multiple offers on every home they list. Why pay the full 2.5 or 3% if you don’t need to. In this climate, you absolutely don’t need to.
