These days, many sellers are looking to save money by taking a more active role in their home sale, while at the same time relying on an experienced Realtor to guide them through the specialized aspects of selling a home.

We offer a middle way between “For Sale By Owner” and “Full Commission Realtors.”

In most ways, we function as a full service Realtor except that we only physically visit your house when necessary.  This means we’ll give you recommendations for how best to handle open houses and property appointments, but they will be your responsibility.

Sellers choose our Savanna Real Estate option when they are willing to pay a standard 2.5% commission to the buyer’s broker.

The total commission is 3.5% (includes 1%* to us and a 2.5% commission to the buyer’s broker), but in the event that we also represent the buyer, the total commission may be as low as 2%.  For those sellers uncomfortable with this kind of “dual agency,” all buyers can be referred to outside, full commission brokers.

Buyers and their agents will see little difference between a property listed for sale with Savanna Real Estate and a typical full commission broker, except that sellers will handle their own showings and open houses if they choose to hold them.
