1. The buying process is NEVER an easy one and our case was no different.
We began with Hugh, who walked us through the entire process and was by our side all the way through, even when things weren’t so easy. Then, Alan was introduced to the team and both of them were true professionals all the way to close of escrow.
2. Source it and leave it to Hugh.
Once we found the place we wanted on Redfin, we were recommended to Hugh by a friend who bought 2 homes with him. He picked up where we left off and led the buying process from that point on. Everything a regular agent would do except take you on all the home tours, which is something you can do on your own these days.
3. The savings you get back from 1% Broker is as advertised.
1%… that is all. The math could not get any simpler.
We were excited to be able to use the savings in commission for our closing costs, which helped immensely. If you have not gone through the buying process, closing costs can be a big surprise at the end and having the extra cash will come in handy.
4. Will we use 1% Broker again?
Absolutely. There is not doubt that Hugh understands his profession and client’s needs. He also understands that the buying/selling process has changed and his business model is adapted to the economic state in which we live.
